Dermal fillers are non-surgical anti-aging treatments that fill in lines and wrinkles while also enhancing the features of the face. Fillers can promote younger-looking skin by restoring volume and rejuvenating damaged skin. The Better Body Shop is proud to offer a full range of dermal fillers to meet the individual needs of its patients.

Dermal fillers can be formulated from a variety of substances, some natural and others synthetic. The most commonly used dermal filler is hyaluronic acid (HA). Our skin naturally contains HA, which keeps the skin hydrated and volumized. According to their specific chemical composition, HA fillers can last from six months to much longer before being gradually absorbed by the body. Results are usually immediate after a dermal filler injection.

How soon will I see the results of my Filler injections?

Results are usually immediate, but each patient’s results vary. Most patients notice a difference within a day or two of their injections.

How long do Dermal Fillers typically last?

There are different types of filler options available, so results will vary based on which type of filler is used. Some fillers can last 6 to 12 months, while others can last up to five years. Once we decide on which product we are using, we can give you more details.

Will I need recovery or downtime after having a Dermal Fillers?

Recovery and downtime will differ depending on the type of filler injected and the patient. Dermal fillers don’t require any downtime, but some patients experience some swelling after the procedure.
