Sculptra is a poly -l-lactic acid that aids in collagen stimulation; the effects of this treatment work gradually overtime. The positive effect of Sculptra is that it restores volume, giving a fuller appearance to the area of treatment. This synthetic collagen stimulator naturally absorbs within the body, restoring the loss of collagen that can happen as we age. The use of Sculptra as an injectable creates gluteal volume and lift. Sculptra for butt lifts are considered off-label use but still safe to perform.

HOW DOES SCULPTRA WORK?

Our trained nurse practitioner will inject Sculptra in the deep layers of tissue, called the deep dermis. The dermis is the location where collagen helps the skin’s overall structure. There is no set number of injections or appointments guaranteed to achieve the patient’s ideal outcome. Results will vary from one individual to the next. However, on average, three appointments are required over a span of every 4-6 weeks.

HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT AND HOW MANY SHOULD I HAVE?

Typical treatment results can last up to 2 years. We will determine the number of treatments needed at your consultation.

CAN ANYONE HAVE THE TREATMENT DONE?

We do not recommend the use of Sculptra for those who are allergic to any of its ingredients, have active skin infection in the area of desired treatment, and have a history of scarring or keloid formation.
